We noted damage to trees in many places on our recent trip but surely none are more affected than the forest at Laguna Del Lagarto.

We were really shocked to see the extent of the damage here and I can't help thinking that the well meaning souls with the chain saws, didn't help the image. Don't let it put you off going, the damage is just cosmetic I'm sure and only seems to effect one side of the trail system.
