A couple on my journey to work yesterday. The first seen from the train. I had to make a diversion in Aberdeen for the second. I think it is probably a lifer. I have memories of seeing them as a child, but I think they were only in the London parks.

Due to circumstances beyond my control, my birding in March/April was torpedoed. Two hundred for the year is now a distant dream, as I'm still a dozen birds behind where I was at this time last year. It's not impossible though, but I've decided to concentrate more on my secondary target, which was to get ten lifers. That side of things is going nicely, especially with the addition of today's bird, that takes my lifers tally for the year to six.

Wilderness, Fife
