Washed up on beach (1 Viewer)

Can anyone help identify these creatures? Dozens washed up on the beach at Kilkee, County Clare, Ireland this week. About 40-50cm long, no internal bony structures, what looked like mouth fronds at one end. At first I thought they were livestock offal! Any help appreciated.

Some sort of Sea Cucumber?
Thanks Jon. That's a good suggestion. I've had a look at images on the 'net (after reading your suggestion) and certainly the structure etc. seems to fit sea cucumber. It's very hard to make a match, though. Difficult to say what colour these unfortunate creatures were when alive, possibly not as white as in my photo. Very odd things have turned up on the rocks and beach at Kilkee over the years...many years ago I took photos of small shellfish-like things (with no shells), each with six or eight "tubes" sticking out. There were literally thousands of them on the rocks, but the Natural History Museum in Dublin (to whom I showed the photos) were at a loss as to what they were.
