Hello everyone!

I am a bird enthusiast from Canada who loves nature, wild life and especially birds. I love losing myself in nature. I go birding locally often and love to spot, identify and photograph species to add to my life list. I've done some birding in Central and South America and it was like I was in a birder's paradise.
I have taken photos of birds here in Vancouver BC, locally and in other parts of the world like Australia, Cuba, Hawaii, Brazil, Peru, Mexico, Costa Rica, Panama and Colombia. Brazil's Atlantic forests was where I spotted the most species of birds in a week in my life.
I love to take a birding trip once or twice a year to a different country to go birding in a jungle or rainforest.
Anyway, I am excited to have found a community of birders who love birds as much as I do.
I have lots of photos to share of beautiful birds I've been lucky to see in the wild.

Hello and welcome to the group. When are you guys going to let us back in :) I want to come see the birds up there.

Thank you all for your kind welcoming words! Thank you for your kind comments on my photos. I am an elementary teacher not a professional photographer but I really do enjoy photographing nature. Especially birds!
