This is a seriously rare bird. You will see prettier birds and more beautiful photos but it will not be often that you see a bird as endangered as this.
Only discovered in the mid 1980's, extremely localised to a small region of Brasil and with a slim grip on survival as a species.

Three cheers for photographers such as Arthur who record these birds for us. Arthur showed a beautiful Heron yesterday and I will be keeping my eye out for more.
