Is this scaly leg mite? (1 Viewer)

Amongst my usual garden birds this morning, I noticed an increase in Chaffinches. We normally see two or three, this morning there were eight, six males and two females. One new bird caught my eye as his legs didn't look right. Click on the image below and see:

Is this scaly leg mite? From what I've seen on a google search it looks like it. Not much info on treatment of wild birds which have this. Other than keeping my feeder table clean (it gets washed with a mild disinfectant and thoroughly rinsed off weekly) what else can I do? This Chaffinch seemed to be eating okay but I don't like the thought of any of my birds getting infected. Anyone got any suggestions?
