Looking for Eagles in NJ (1 Viewer)

Any suggestions on where I can see and photograph Bald Eagles in NJ or Eastern PA?

Go along the upper Delaware River and you should see plenty. Center around Narrowsburg, NY. There are restaurants in Narrowsburg along the river with outdoor decks set up to watch for eagles.

This is not too far north of the New Jersey border. Follow NY Route 97 north from Interstate 84 at Port Jervis, NY. The New Jersey state line is just south of Port Jervis. You can also take PA route 209 south from there to the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area just north of Stroudsburg although you probably won't see as many there.

Also in the Hawley, Pennsylvania area of Northeast PA on route 6 east of Honesdale. This is not far from Zane Greys homestead.

Further north of there on route 97 in Callicoon, NY up to Hancock, NY they are commonly seen. The river corridor there with the old roads along it is a good birding area.
