monkey nuts and red peanut strings (1 Viewer)

I've just put out some threads of monkey nuts and red peanuts to attract tits has anyone had any success with this type of food.

In my garden the Red Peanuts are in a mesh nut feeder. They are eaten by Great Spotted Woodpeckers, Blue Tits, Great Tits, and Starlings. The strings of Monkey Nuts I hang are eaten by Tits, which are fun to watch, and also by Squirrels, which are also fun to watch, especially when they gather up the string, bite it, and run off with the lot.;)
