Do you mean it actually putting a live link onto the site or taking picture captures to put on the site.

I would like to watch birds in a bird box live on a web cam and wonderd if this happens on here. You can buy camaras that fit into nest boxs. But my nest boxs are new and not occupied and I dont know if anything will nest in them. Then you have to set it all up. It is easier if someone posted this sort of thing so we could watch.

As I understand, a camera installed in a nestbox before the nesting season, as it will cause no disturbance, is considered an exception to this. Can't myself see any problem with showing this sort of photo/video.

Mods will be alone to sort the truth out

Hi there,

on the ex beeb forum there is a link to a webcam that's been set up in a nest box as well as a couple on feeders

Go on to ex beeb forum and go to I-catcher console webcam thread.

Sorry but I've not got the hang of copying links yet.

So far there has been a blue tit roosting in it some nights, but alas, not tonight.

Hi, if you are interested, we have a webcam on our web site at www.nestwatch.info. The site tracks the progress of nesting Blue Tits in the UK. The webcam isn't full time yet, as the season has yet to really get started. There is also a diary and lots if pictures.

There are also lost of other sites with cameras listed on our Links page.

Regards

Andy
