Help with identifying my dad's gift (binoculars) (1 Viewer)

I got these for my dad from an antique shop. I'm just wanting some info on it so when I give it to him I can tell him something about it.

Are there any numbers and/or letters stamped somewhere on the binocular? How wide (approximately) are the front lenses?

Possibly 8x24 Porroprism binocular, 1920s?
Maybe made in France?

I'll send measurements once I get home tonight. There are no letters or markings on it. Thought that was a little odd.
