Turdidae Pornography (1 Viewer)

If you look closely, you can see a stick up its bum, and glass eyes, and the garden is unmistakably in Thorngumbald, East Yorkshire.

Not at all, just intrigued by the title.
It is a stunning shot though,
If I could have a christmas wish, it would be to be able to take a shot as good as this.

On second thoughts maybe I am a little disappointed,I would like to see some
Tits.Blue or Great of course¬

White's is one of my all time faves

was lucky enough to see some in Arunachal this year - on a sun-dappled forest floor they were unbeatable. One of my all time top experiences was walking down a tunnel of vegetation in NE India and having a Zoothera fly straight at us. As the bird belatedly saw us, it stalled by opening its wings at face height just a yard or two from us. The underwing pattern was just magical

try this for some 'hot action' http://www.orientalbirdimages.org/s...esult&Bird_ID=1495&Bird_Family_ID=&pagesize=1 - another one that finally fell this year in India!

Good grief, Tim, you've veered off into Chick-Lit! (or is that Tick-Lit?)

Just beautiful. It makes you want to go round the house changing everything to a black, gold and white colour scheme. I suppose summer plumage Golden Plover is the nearest we get to the thrush in the UK as regards colours?

It gets more jaw dropping if you see it full size. I wonder when he will photograph the rest of his Turdidae list.

Anyone got any similar dream material?

It's glorious

I want to save it/crop it/set as background it!
