Hi

I was wondering if anyone can help, i have recently been to Houston Texas and was wondering if Humming birds are present all year around in this part of the USA, The people i was staying with do put up humming bird feeders in the Summer but unfortunately i never get to visit in the Summer, so was wondering if the feeders were put out all year around whether humming birds would use them??

Thanks

Simon

Hi Simon, there are some hummingbirds that "over winter" in the Houston area. My understanding is that most do head down to Central America but some stay along the Texas coast.
