UK Nikon Scope Dealer in Home Counties?

My brother-in-law recently had a play with my Fieldscope and got interested about having one of his own. As well as advising him to get a really good pair of bins first, I have been encouraging him to go somewhere where he can get his hands on a few different ED scopes to make comparisons before he decides which is best for him.

Are there any dealers in the Home counties, preferably North of London, where he can see a range of Nikon and other ED scopes? Are any of these on reserves or locations where you can get a decent view to test scopes 'in the field'?

Secondly, as I know many forumites have experience of several scopes, what other brands should he look at/ avoid while he's there (Swaros are outside his budget)?

Thanks in anticipation on his behalf:t:!

Andyotter,

In Focus have a place at Willows Farm, London Colney just outside the M25 that might suit you :

If you are willing to travel further they also have a place at the Wetlands Centre in West London.

As always, phone beforehand to check they have what you want.

Kay Optical are based in South London and they do Field Days. However, looking at their website they seem to have reduced the number of venues significantly. At one time I thought they came as far north as Tring but now there are only three locations, two in Kent and one in Sussex, which are probably not a lot of use from North London.

Regards

Mark
