The 13 Mandarin's today is the largest number seen in the Valley plus the county

Back to reality. First bit of decent passage 8-9.10am Swan/Browns: 90+ Fieldfare, 20+ Redwing, 9 Siskin, 6 Skylark, 1 Brambling, 1 Redpoll, 2 Stonechat, 500Woodpigen West. 52 Parakeets, Water Rail.per Pete Hackett

Swan Pool reasonably quiet this morning. Steady passage of Redwing, 12 Redpoll, 3 Siskin and Skylark over. 12+ Teal, 243 Coot. There’s going to be a fun run today around Swan Pool and Priory Woods so likely to be busy around there most of the day per Matt Hadlington

Yesterday's Crossbills were our third largest flock we had 60+ birds on the 5th July 2005, 20 birds on the 5th July 2012 And Matt's 15 yesterday
