Pleased to report Sunderland City Council have finally installed a height barrier to the car park yesterday to prevent Nissan's fleets of Romanian van drivers from camping in there 24/7, so its accessible to the public at last and free to use once again. Area has been litter picked several times but still in need of a good cleanse as they left an awful mess. Be aware that the hedges close to the car park have been their toilets so stick to the paths and probably best to avoid the old north end hide area for a while! Other two hides along the path visible from the main road are still nice and usable though.

Oh and be sure to check your car is less than 2.1m high before driving in!
