Camargue in October? (1 Viewer)

Hi, we´ve got some unplanned familily holiday time for the first half of October. My wife´s got the idea of South of France and Camargue in particular, and as this is a birdy place, I´m inclined to accept :)
Still, ist October a good time to be there? Is a lot of hunting going on there? Can Spectacled Warbler still be seen then?
And, any ideas for good birding spots in Ocotober between Lyon and the Camargue?
Thanks for some opinions!
Florian

I never been there in October.
Suppose waders are still there.
I had waders and also Osprey in Toscany even middle of November.
Carmague I think has similar climate.
From Switzerland to Carmargue, I would avoid Lyon area.
If You drive south via Grenoble area, then Verdun gorge is not far from this way.
This is an very interesting area for vultures and very nice.
