Capercaillie and Three-toed Woodpecker in Eastern Slovakia? (1 Viewer)

I'll be going to Slovakia for a few days in the middle of April, with the main goal being to find a nice mix of owls and woodpeckers, concentrating on the eastern part of the country.
Birding in Eastern Europe by Gorman lists a few sites for Caper and Three-toes, but I wonder if anyone has more detailed and/or up-to-date information on where to search for them?

Jens,
If you send me a PM, I can give you a possible contact or two, but Capercaillie is mostly in the west in the Maly Fatra.
