HELP REQUIRED
We would like to get more people to come on our wonderful Bird watching trips
We are struggling to get enough people to make the trips viable.
Our next 2 trips will make or break the trips as if we can’t get enough then the trips will no longer run.

APRIL 28TH SUNDAY – BEMPTON CLIFF’S & FLAMBOROUGH HEAD £24.00 EACH
MAY 12TH SUNDAY - YNYS-NIR £24.00 EACH.

2 Great locations to see birds that we wouldn’t see around here, with great people who have loads of knowledge and a great sense of humour.
It would be a shame if we have to stop the trips ass many people use these trips to get to places they wouldn’t normally get too.

We could do with a few more people on the Ynys-Hir RSPB trip so if you are interested please get in touch.

Possible sighting at the location could be Pied Flycatcher, Willow warbler, Wood warbler, Redstart, Osprey even a chance of seeing a Pine Martin if you are lucky.
 
Would love to come on a trip, but am registered disabled and cant walk very far. If its disabled friendly then I am in.
 
Unfortunately Ynys-Hir is a little hilly but our trips to Titchwell Marsh rspb are friendly to people with difficulties with walking as I do have the same problems but do manage to get around unlike some people.
Titchwell Marsh RSPB is a wonderful place it maybe a little to far to get to the Beach but all the other hides are in easy reach if you take your time and have a rest on the benches all around the reserve.
 
The Titchwell Marsh RSPB Trip is currently running in October 2019 the group will be visiting Frampton Marsh RSPB in September 2019

Booking info will be on here from mid August 2019 I will be updating a list of species seen on our Bempton Cliffs & Flamborough head visit on Sunday April 28th

The group will be travelling to Ynys-Hir RSPB on May 12th £22.00 each

For those travelling with the group tomorrow we have the chance of seeing the following species -
Wood Warbler, Redstart, Pied Flycatcher, Red Kite, Osprey, Spoonbill, Purple heron (seen in the area over the week) with many more species this should be a great day out.
 
Our visit to Ynys-Hir RSPB was a great day for birding and walking around the countryside. We arrived around 10.30am on a great sunny day the reserve as a great array of habitat we saw the following species - Garden Warbler, Cetti's Warbler, Wood Warbler, Willow Warbler, Reed Warbler, Sedge Warbler, Redstart, Pied Flycatcher, Spotted Flycatcher, Siskin, Osprey, Buzzard, Red Kite and many more.

Good morning all the Stourbridge local group will soon be taking booking for the first 2 trips this season to Frampton Marsh Sunday 22nd September and Titchwell Marsh Sunday 20th October.
Please note no price as yet will let you all know asap as these 2 trips are very popular and a great way to kick off a new season of trips.

Yes looking good this season with both great indoor talks and some brilliant trips all trips leave Stourbridge at 7.00am from by Corbett's Hospital
 
It looks like one of your group came up trumps with a White-rumped Sandpiper on your Sunday trip to Frampton:eek!: I don’t know whether he mentioned it at the time - he says he was perusing his digital snaps.....

We don't travel to Frampton until 22nd September but hoping some of the rarer species will be around when we travel
 
There are still seats for the Frampton Marsh trip they are £20.00 each (RSPB Members cards required at reserve) a small charge will be in place at the reserve if you are not RSPB members.

This weeks sightings at Frampton Marsh are –
Curlew sandpiper, Wood sandpiper, Short eared owl, Cattle egret, Little stint, Spoonbill, Spotted redshank, Ruddy shelduck, Great white egret & Garganey with many more species seen around the reserve.

Enough people have booked on the forthcoming Frampton trip to make it viable but there are still plenty of places available. Frampton RSPB reserve is one of the best places to see waders during autumn migration and there is the possibility of other passage migrants and raptors. On our last September visit we saw little stint, curlew sandpiper, wood sandpiper, spotted redshank, greenshank, yellow wagtail and red-necked grebe. So, if you you are free next Sunday and have not already booked your place, please consider joining us for what we hope will be a good day out at one of the RSPB's best reserves.

£20 each and pick up at Corbetts Hospital Stourbridge 7am prompt start
