Hi,

my cousin just back from Nagaland, had these very sad pictures of these beautiful birds meant for the pot. We would be writing a piece on the sad situation these birds caught there, and would greatly appreciate some help to confirm what these birds are, male, juv, or female before we can proceed to blog it.

I will also post the story in Birdforum ...

Adult male and juv. (possibly male too).... waht you mean "for the pot"... they are caught to be eaten or taken as a pet? Please do all your best to denunce this shame...Amur falcon its strictly protected and a scarce species
