While out walking the dog this morning I saw the usual Canadian Geese, turkey vultures, bank swallows, goldfinches, and a belted kingfisher. Now the kingfisher I've not seen before, so I was glad to see it and be able to come home and identify it

I'm heading back out to the nature preserve for some biking and will bring along the digital.I'd rather use my slr with the large zoom, but the digi is smaller and easier to carry on long rides.

Congrats, Dingoblu! Another bird I have not seen. Also, it's the only kingfisher in New York!
