I realize some of these will never be ID'd this way, but your comments can help in directing future hands-on work to get closer than we are currently, so do not give-up too easily!

I think the first one is a vireo. You can see green in the wings and some on the face. the lighter line through the eye and the dark area on top of the head. But maybe the bill is wrong?
