Almost at the magic 200 in my Life List after today's cracking views of Reed Warbler :t:

Therefore....last three ticks are.....

197: Slavonian Grebe
198: Mediterranean Gull
199: Reed Warbler
 
After a return to birding after 20 years I've added three 'lifers' to my list, and all are reflective of climate change since the 80's as well as more conservation awareness.
1. Hobby
2. Peregrine.
3. Spoonbill

If I am allowed to bend the rules and add a fourth it's
4. Little Egret

ps: I've also gone out and heard our 'local' corncrakes and common quails, birds that I didn't even consider a chance of hearing back in my old birding days.

My last 3 lifers have in recent times have been the following (starting with the lifer I saw most recently):

1. White-winged Black Tern
2. White-tailed Eagle
3. Eurasian Bittern

All of which make me delighted considering they are hard to see!
