Flycatcher ,Central Greece (1 Viewer)

The tertials have the very typical pattern of a 1cy with white only at the outer vane. At first I thought Pied because of the rather small primary patch which doesn't seem to extend to the outer primaries. But I'm not sure as in my experience it would be quite a primary patch for a 1cy Pied. Might be a Collared as well. Hope someone with more experience will chip in.

Looks like a Collared to me...have only seen Collared with that amount of white off the covert bar, with Pied showing discernibly less than.

Cheers

Today I've been experiencing the first fall of (mainly 1cy) Pied Flycatchers of the autumn on Heligoland. I examined some twenty and none had a primary patch as large as the OP bird - not even close. So I agree with Ken on Collared.
