Female Scaup or Tufted Duck? Essex UK (1 Viewer)

I saw this at Bowers Marsh this week and am thinking it is a female scaup because it was slightly large, head shape and lack of tuft, but I am not sure because the I don't know whether the white patch above the beak is large enough and whether the lower body colouring is right.
Please could someone confirm and let me know what pointers are giving it away?
Many Thanks

To me it looks like a tufted duck. Head shape doesn't seem to match either lesser or greater scaup.
I'm definitely not sure, but thats my initial impression.
