I obtained one last year and it was covered with a with a white substance similar to powder, additionally it had a bit if particulates of dust inside. I sent it to Leica for service without any warranty papers, they were still in the box/not filled out, (The glass came with everything as new). I was anxiously waiting a cost estimate, no word.
Leica sent me them back in two weeks at no charge, new armor, clean collimate etc. It is as new. I could not be more pleased. This glass performs great as a 10X50, like the 8X32 a great glass, even today.

Can't beat that for service. I bet your 10x50 BAs deliver great views. Have a great Independence Day Andy!
