Need ID on Ducks at Amboseli in Kenya (1 Viewer)

I photographed these ducks in a pool of water in the swamps of Amboseli National Park in early Sept, 2019. I was thinking Common Pochard but not sure

Not Common Pochard but White- Faced Whistling Duck.

Curious as to why you thought Common Pochard as there is no structural or plumage similarity to the birds correctly identified above?

I saw the white on the face and black on the back and may a VERY quick guess. Thanks to everyone for the input nad ID
