Can you ID this catterpillar?

Hi,

I started a thread on the forum as I keep finding droppings on, and around my bins (https://www.birdforum.net/showthread.php?t=388444). With help from this forum, I have finally worked out what is leaving the droppings. It turns out that they are from caterpillars!

I was wondering if someone with more knowledge than me can ID the type of moth (presuming it is a moth) that this will grow in to?

Pictures attached. More pictures available.

Thanks

Looks like Angle Shades to me, can be found all year as a caterpillar and feeds on pretty much anything in my experience.

Hi Walter, thank you very much for the information! In my opriginal post on this thread, I wanted to say that it was yourself that prompted me to look for the caterpillars but I couldn't remember your username.

It seems that you are a wealth of knowledge and I thank you for helping me resolve this mystery.

Thanks again.
