Please help confirm/identify shorebirds seen in Esplanade, Cairns.

Photo 1. Red-necked stint (smaller birds)? , identify larger bird.
Photo 2. Same as photo 1.
Photo 3. Grey-tailed Tattler ?

It looks like the same young bird I saw at the end of October at the north end of the Esplanade, that many were identifying as Marsh Sandpiper (and couldn't be dissuaded)...

Ooops!! Agree Greenshank; bill too stout and pale-based for Marsh Sand.
