Question Dominican Republic

Hi,

Just returned from the Dom and saw a small black bird with white eye stripes and a bright yellow chest.
It must be very common out there as we saw them very often in the gardens of our hotel, but I haven't a clue as to what it was.
Any ideas?

Knot.
