We've been absent from UK for nearly 20 years. Before we left we lived near here on the coast and near South Downs. Something that we are so pleased to see is that Red kites are now "almost" common. To see them on pretty well every one of our frequent walks on the Downs is a joy.

Hi there and a warm welcome to you from those of us on staff here at BirdForum :t:

We're glad you found us and thanks for taking a moment to say hello. Please join in wherever you like ;)

Hi Bolinski and a warm welcome from me too.

The South Downs are beautiful, aren't they. I know some areas pretty well, but haven't been for some years now sadly.

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I look forward to hearing your news.
