First sighting was three days ago. This is a potential ABA first. Anyone heading there to look for it?

That Crane has been around for a while. Did you see it? I had a chance to see the Common Crane that spent some time in Tennessee last year but never made the three and a half hour drive to do so.
No recent reports on the Honeycreeper...|=(|

I did try to find the crane. Spent all day trying to spot it, along with about a dozen other people. I had to drive home (5 hr drive) and wanted to.hit some Lubbock hot spots if I could. Gave up around 4 and drove back to Lubbock. At 4:30 a friend sent me a text saying it was out by itself, in clear view at Paul's Lakes! I was NOT a happy camper! I haven't heard anything else on the Honeycreeper. It seems to be a skulky bird and could still be there.

Ouch! It's tough to lose out when a long drive is involved. I think twice before driving over an hour but I know others who spend much of their life on the highway, chasing lifers. Good you got the Tyrannulet; that is one of our LRGV target birds. Leaving in a week! :D
