as a former eton boy should he not be making laws and running the country - oh he already does!
Spendid news. Guns. Poisons. No birds of prey! Are any of the regular participants on the Norfolk forum aware of the fact that the people involved in the latest crime against wild life at Holkham could under the new governments scheme become managers of the Holkham NNR.

Make them live on council estates. Force them to send there children to failing state schools. If they complain hunt them with dogs! That should do the trick!Protests would need to be organized and highlighted in the local media to expose the disgusting hypocracy of these types:C

John. So was i. My comments are directed at an elitist group of individuals who believe they are above the law. This group would shoot almost anything and probably do. If allowed they would hunt the young unemployed on there estates! Sorry if i offended you john. My point is that these estate owners do not give a shit about your views. So given this they outdated ideas need to treated with contempt in return!I was born and raised on a council estate and worked for some years in what was once dubbed a 'failing' state school which drew many of its pupils from a deprived council estate. Despite the stigma attached to the school, it had many great students who have gone on to enjoy successful careers/fulfilling lives. So forgive me if I find this casual stereotyping deeply offensive - I appreciate it wasn't meant to be thus, but it again underscores the need to think before you post. I'm no more keen on cruelty to humans than I am to that meeted out to animals either come to that,
John. I lived in pro hunting village in north yorks. After the hunting ban it was clear that nothing had changed. Hunting continued, the police did nothing. My point. These individuals do just what they like! Thanks for clarifying what you meant. I just get damn tired of the way in which council estates and 'failing' schools regularly get demonised. I appreciate that in essence what you were saying is that the arrogant 'toffs' who head up the pro-hunting lobby may need taking down a peg or two and that the environment you describe is just the place for it. Sorry if I took it the wrong way, but I think you appreciate that it was somewhat ambiguously expressed. Apologies to you for my misinterpretation and to others for indulging my bad temper,
Good news.
Well let's see what sort of sentence he gets before we break out the beers....
