Hello from bird newbie

Hi,
Just joined today. Very usefull forum, glad i found it.

Currently i shoot with fujifilm xt-10 and old russian 135mm lens :)

My father gives me "Tamron SP 70-300mm f/4-5.6 Di VC USD" for Nikon.
So i am looking for a body for it...

I would like to try a used FF nikon, as i notice that i mostly shoot birds early in the morning and do use a high ISO (above 1600 ) and get a lot of noise.

My budget is around 1k$
I was thinking of getting used D700+grip/D3/D800.
I read some articles stating auto focus issues + oil/dust inside sensor in D800.
So if someone can give advise on this, i would appriciate it.

I know Nikon has great DX bodies, just want to go FF as i already have APS-C. and i am aware that 300 will not be enough so i will upgrade the lens in the future.

Thank you all! Have a nice day.
Boris
