I would like to get into digiscoping , I have just bought a secondhand Opticron Mighty Midget 2 scope ED version with HDF 24 x ww eyepiece , the camera that i am going to start with is a Canon A85 and to attach both together with an F - adapter.
So if anyone can give me the settings to use on the Canon A85 that would be great as i dont know where to start.
Thanks for reading this and any advice for a new digiscoper would be much appreciated.
Take care all and good watching to everyone , Geoff.

Geoff,
Start with -
iso 100
Macro
Center Focus
Spot Metering (dial in -0.7 exposure compensation )
Continuous Mode
Highest Detail settings - Fine or Large
Good luck, Neil.

Do not use "auto" mode. Use either "Program" or "Av" modes when not in "continuous".
Make sure that your flash is deactivated. Other than those items, I agree with all the advise that Niel has offered you.
