The opposite is true isn't it surely, do you think the livestock industry could be trusted to develop and implement animal welfare strategies that would not neccessarily benefit them?

The RSPCA also welcomed the move, saying it had been concerned guidance documents might not contain the same level of welfare information as the existing codes,
