Where to go - 2 days - flying in to Shannon (1 Viewer)

I may be flying into Shannon mid-December. I'll just have two free days and was wondering if anybody would advise regarding the best place(s) to go birding and to photograph birds. I'll have a car. Thanks!

What area will you be based in?

Counties Clare and Galway offer some great winter birding.
Might I suggest you buy this book to get you to the best sites.

Shannon Airport Lagoon is good for wildfowl and waders.
From here you can work around the clare coast for a variety of winter birds.

Keep an eye here for the latest clare sightings.
