And number of fires in Brasil is twice larger than in 2013. However fire activity (?) is a little below average.

Are these really forest fires? I would think most of them are in savannah (grassland with scattered trees). I don't see any fires in tropical rainforest. Ofcourse, there are subtropical forests but I would think that most of the fires are seasonal bushfires.

In S-America on the other hand, I see lots of fires in the Amazon rainforest region. Disturbingly, I see some of those in national parks...

Yes, those fires are south of rainforests in Kongo Basin, I was wrong. But is it normal ?

Africa burns mostly outside rain forests. In Angola fires are caused by farmers, what obviously is not a natural process, but intentional reckless human activity. So in contrast to Amazon, this is not result of drought caused by global warming.
How do they know whether Amazon fires are spontaneous, but not set by some people or companies wanted to clear forests ?

I guess both in africa and S-america, fires are set by humans. In African Savannah, this has been going on for 100ths of years. Most fires are by small farmers clearing scrub on their (bush)land or burning dry grass anticipating for the rain.
In S america, fires are in areas where some years ago you had pristine rainforest. After loggers cut the best trees, the rest is burnt for big scale grasland for cows. Those grasland plots only produce enough for some years, after the rain. After that, many plots are abandoned. It’s Like slash and burn, but on a bigger scale and in areas that should have primary forest. That is my interpretation, correct me if I’m wrong!
