ID help: What kind of Rail is this? (1 Viewer)

I was birding Cedar Key today on the Gulf Coast, and I came across this rail that I'm having trouble IDing. It was in what I think was a salt marsh (along the boardwalk near the cemetery, if anyone's familiar with Cedar Key) although it might be brackish water? I'm not sure. The rail disappeared rather quickly. I got a couple pictures of it, but they're low resolution and not great for IDing. But if anyone can help me, that'd be great.

I hope those are good enough to go by. Thank you!

The dark, dull brown on the back with comparatively little white and buffy
edgings to the feathers and the amount of gray on the side of the head indicate Clapper Rail.
