Wheatear Skeg Beach 200912

Had this Wheatear on the beach between Skegness and Gibraltar Point this morning. Dont recall having seen a Northern with such dark brown upperparts. Sadly did not get a good view of the tail pattern before it disappeared.

Comments and opinions would be gratefully received

Regards

Nige
