Am a newcomer to this web site as well as my residence in Trinity County California, USA. Trinity is quite rural with neither a traffic light nor parking meter in the whole county. Biggest problem right now is keeping squirrls out of the sunflower feeders, deer out of the garden and bears out of the trash.

Hi Craig,

A warm welcome to BirdForum from all the Admin and Moderators. I hope you enjoy your time with us.

I must say I don't get a lot of trouble with bears in this part of England ;)

Hello Craig and welcome aboard.

Gotta say that your town sounds like just the type of town I would love to live in. Not sure how receptive I would be to the bears though ;)

Hi Craig,

Welcome to BirdForum!

Trinity is quite rural
Well I've been through Trinity Co . . . perhaps predictably, the road from Redding to Eureka. No bears, but did get a stunning adult Bald Eagle soaring over the Trinity River. And the largest Gray Pine cone I've ever seen :D
