I'm thinking of getting new Binoculars and thought about getting RSPB ones. I've been looking at these ones and seem to be good Ones too. Has anyone got them?

I haven't actually got a pair but I do volunteer for the RSPB as an Optics Adviser so I am very familiar with them.

As they are currently on offer for £50 off they represent very good value. With a 10 year warranty and decent optical performance I would recommend them.

Have you actually tried them?

Euan,
Without any doubt, members on Birdforum would strongly advise you to please physically try out binoculars if you can, before making a purchase.
You can do as much research on the internet, seek other people's thoughts and make a shortlist but you really need to try out a pair for yourself and see how they perform both optically and personally.
Good luck with your endeavours........and, good birding.
Pat
ps. I think the nearest to you is RSPB Loch Leven
