The orange one, grows out in the open on sandy tracks and my wife has told me it's edible? The small white one is really tin and dotted all over the ground in wet, mixed woodland.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi Andy,

Here are my attempts:

1 - Cortinarius sp. Are there violet tints to the top of the stem? I can't quite make my mind up.....
2 - Gymnopus confluens
3 - Marasmius cf. epiphyllus (was it growing from leaves?)
4 - Agree with Dave
5 - Armillaria sp. (a photo of the underside is necessary to get it to species level)

Cheers,
Nick
