Can someone give me info on what food is available to purchase for feeding birds in Belgium (around Namur/Brussels) as follows:

Are sacks of sunflowers hearts available to purchase?

Are mealworms available to purchase?

Many thanks.

Hi, I purchase a lot from Aveve shops, I find they give a good range and are reasonably priced. Most garden centres are good too.

and if you have a garden, it's not too late to plant some sunflower seeds right now; this will result in good numbers of Chaffinches, European Greenfinch, European Goldfinch and maybe even Bramblings in winter.

I live in Brussels and I usually order my bird food online (through Vivara).

If you go to specialised shops you kinds find mealworms , sunflowers seeds, fat balls, peanuts etc.

I have found that vivara.be is the best source of all kinds of bird food in Belgium Helen. Good quality, wide range, delivery free if you order above a certain amount.
