Agree but that black cap is much darker than shown in any of the three books I have, It's much brighter overall than I'd expect and I specifically looked at Becards.

It is VERY bright and it should be a male rather than a female with that black crown but the male should lack the rufous wings and yellowish back?
Can't see what else it could be though.

We only see the sides of the crown and they're not completely black. Some females show a darker crown than the average ones. The birds linked below may serve as examples:

No offense intended, but this looks like an image that has been processed with high contrast settings. I also feel it is a Barred Becard
