This was a commissioned piece for RSPB.. a lot of hair pulling, but got there in the end, never seen these birds in the flesh , so all done from photos..
had the sizes from ringing records.. which were a good help, all carved from
jelutong (Wood) and painted with acrylic paints, they wanted the female to be lifted from the nest ,to see the eggs, which are also made from wood...
also all the habitat was made by myself ...hope you like , mark...

The design is wonderful and all the greenery is great too!

You haven't given us the usual clothespin - is this similar in size to the others you've done recently?
