The beak screams Indian or Lesser Spotted.....but the question is which one?
Can this bird be identified to species level?

Indian Spotted Eagle has only ever been recorded in Pakistan a few times - maybe 3? Lesser Spotted has never been recorded - unless the few previous records have been assigned to Indian Spotted after the split?

The last one may or may not be this bird. Observer is not so sure.

Thanks in advance.

BirdLife Datazone has the distribution of Clanga hastata just into Pakistan from Lahore to Hafizabad round almost to Sialkot. However, its distribution in India further south is given as northeast of Bhuj, only 225-250km from Bhambore.

BLDZ maps C. pomarina occurring on migration no nearer to Pakistan than Ahwaz in Iran.
