Swift Ultra 8x42? (1 Viewer)

Nevermind, I see that it is the Ultra-Lite, it is just labeled incorrectly. Anyone have opinions on how this would stack up against a Nikon Monarch III 8x42? Apparently the Monarch III is just the monarch with dielectric coatings applied.

Swift Ultralite 8x42 porro

If you can stand the looks, the Ultralite 8x42 porro is a superb binocular. For quality of image, you won't do better at any price: bright, sharp, excellent colour rendition. The only optical limitation is the FOV at 341', though it feels OK in use. Very comfortable in the hand: excellent ergonomics. Much nicer to use than the Aubon, with its horrible eyepieces and floppy ocular bridge (solid alloy in the ultralite). Much harder to find than the roof - if you see one discounted, grab it!
