Inspired by the tiny egyptian Little Owl here are a few pixelated pics for ID. These are regular British birds.

OK here's my guesses!
1st is a cormorant
2nd Oystercatcher
3rd either Common Tern or some kind of gull - prob. Med.
4th tricky one! I'll say Wheatear (of some sort!) or a Black Redstart?

Without reading anyone else's answers, I went for...

Cormorant
Oystercatcher
Black-headed Gull
Robin

Can't work out from Brian's clues whether I've repeated any wrong answers!!!

1. Canada goose
2. Redshank
3. Black headed gull
4.Blackbird
Are you sure they're not Cuban Birds?
How did the Lunchtime birding go?

Still just two right overall so I have added some much better defined pics (432 pixels each) ;)

Lunchtime got me my first Willow Warbler, Swallow, House Martin and Common Tern of the year plus a couple of Lesser Redpoll and an intruiging but unproductive flock of pipits.

Yep Andrew. I don't know what make the attachment process use thumbnails but by making the pics smaller the birds become much clearer. This works with the first set too but you have to do it yourself.

Still one wrong though ;)

Here are the original pix. Shag, Turnstone, Med Gull and Redwing.

All right four more. Might need to go to a higher number of pixels sooner with these but try 108 pixels first.
