Helmet Vanga new place? Anyone knows? (1 Viewer)

Hi friends!

Does anyone know/heard about "Tavalobe" (not far from Andasibe)?
This is a new place where the local agent promises the Helmet Vanga, but Tavalobe not mentioned in any reports yet)

Hi, there are reports out there, sorry that I can't point you to them, can't remember where posted - keep looking or ask a local ground agent...!

Should give you an indication (I guess around the coordinates of this bird: http://world.observation.org/waarneming/view/118955454 )
But I feel you would have to contact a guide anyway (especially so if this is national park, then it is obliged).

See post #2. One needs to drive some distance using a 4WD, then it's about a 7 km walk to get there. The place is in a communal reserve, thus one needs a local guide. We had our Périnet guide arranging the tour.
