Olympus Pen not very good results... (1 Viewer)

Hello... I have been using a very inexpensive canon 2300 in combination with my nikon ED50,mainly for video in HD ..The quality is good enough to make some documentation of my birding,,I do sketching and capturing a bit of footage helps me finish some details later at home..so far so good..Recently got an Olympus Epl3, a micro four thirds camera, and decide to give it a try to "dedicated" digiscoping using my larger scope ,a kowa 823...I coupled the camera perfectly to a baader Zoom eyepiece ,that i have adapted to use with the scope, and got what i think is a decent combo..excellent eyepiece, good ol' fluorite scope and micro 4/3 camera...
Using the camera for video seems ok ,although the small canon 2300/ ED50 combo seems capable of at least similar definition , but taking pictures the Olympus is not capable ,even with its stabilized body(tested at all three modes)of taking a single sharp picture...Shooting the camera creates a vibration and all the pictures are soft and out of focus..I tried the canon on the kowa,at the same subject/light/distance, and got better results..Is there any way to counteract this effect, and is this a problem in general with all micro 4/3 (and reflex) cameras,or is this model particularly bad for this use....?

Well, answering myself here...first of all I didnt adjust the focal lenght for the stabilization,so this was my first course of action after someone ,in other forum, adviced me to do so...didnt help at all, really ,so I kept looking for advice and reviews and found what seems,I forgot, the general consensus about stabilized cameras shooting from a tripod...Need to disable the IS ...so i did and started to get some decent results..not on birds yet unfortunately....
